Now that the majority of players are in the registration system the CLOC can confirm the transfer rules for during the season.

In order to ensure fairness to all
teams please note the following details relating to transfers during the regular season.
All transfer requests must have been completed and authorised by 10:00pm on the TUESDAY prior to the next weekends game. These authorisations will then be passed onwards to allow the Registrations of the transferred players to take place as per the normal procedure and time-lines.
This deadline is to:
a) Ensure that we do not have the last minutes rushes to try and get transfers through just before the game that we have had in the past
b) To ensure a level playing field for all teams – only players / coaches etc. registered and correctly transferred as at Wednesday morning can be included on a teams roster
Please do not ask for these rules to be waived – we have a duty to all teams to treat them equally within the rules – waiving the rule to allow a player to play if his transfer completion is late is unfair on that teams opponents the following weekend.
This means that if you have a player join you on a Sunday that you only have until the TUESDAY evening to get the transfer authorised for that player to play next week.
For clarification by authorised we mean that the losing team must have agreed the transfer and that the CLOC has approved it. Just submitting a transfer by the deadline without its completion does NOT mean that the transfer has met the transfer deadline.
The emphasis is on yourselves to get agreement from the losing team. It should be remember that the losing team are allowed up to 5 days to do this. The BAFA CLOC will not normally get involved until this 5 day period has expired, it is however expected that teams will co-operate as much as and
not unnecessarily delay the process.
All transfer progress will be monitored by the CLOC.
The transfer process that must be followed is as follows: (please note that it is important that CLOC is copied in all emails if we are to help resolve any issues).
a) The gaining team will email the losing team and cloc@bafa.org.uk requesting the transfer.
b) The losing team should notify the gaining team and cloc@bafa.org.uk of their approval or objection to the transfer at the earliest opportunity and no later than 5 days from the
request being made.
c) Once an approval has been received by CLOC from the losing team the transfer will be authorised.
d) An entry on a previously submitted debtors list will be taken as an objection unless the losing team authorise the transfer. The CLOC will check debtors list and notify the gaining team of this debt as soon as possible following receipt of the transfer request.
e) If after 5 days and no response from the losing team has been received (and no debt exists on a debtors list) then the transfer will be authorised.
f) If the gaining team dispute the objection or debt then the losing team and cloc@bafa.org.uk should be notified. The CLOC will then ask for evidence/proof from the losing team which must be supplied within a further 5 days
g) The CLOC will review the evidence/proof and make a ruling on the transfer. If however no evidence/proof is provided after the 5 days then the transfer will be authorised.
